Excerpt:

“Please, Chloe. I love you. I want to spend every second of my life with you from now until the day I die. I can’t live without you,” I pleaded.

This had gone so much better in my head. While I knew she would be angry, I had hoped that I wouldn’t have to resort to groveling to get her to take me back. If I had to though, I would. I would rather die than spend one more day without her.

“I don’t want to get hurt again, Drake,” she whispered. “I can’t take it.”

I grabbed her and pulled her into my arms. She struggled at first, but I held on tight, refusing to let her go.

“I will never hurt you again, Chloe. Never. Let me prove it to you.”

I pressed my lips to hers and kissed her like I was dying, like it was the last kiss we would ever share because it might just be our last. When I let her go, she might slap me and then never speak to me again. If she did, I wanted to remember the feel of her lips against mine for the rest of my life.

Despite what she’d said, her body responded to me instantly. She wrapped her arms around me and kissed me back, showing me just how much she still wanted me. I groaned as her lips parted, and I slipped my tongue inside her mouth, flicking my tongue ring against her tongue in a way that I knew drove her crazy.

Author Interview:

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
I think I always knew. Even when I was little, I would write stories in notebooks. It's just something I've always loved.

What are your current top 5 books?
Fallen Crest Series by Tijan, Kathleen Turner Series by Tiffany Snow, and The Lux Series by Jennifer L Armentrout (There's a bunch in each series, so I guess I chose more than 5. Sorry!!!)

When you write a book do you plan it out fully with an outline, make it up as you go, or a combo of the two?
Combo. I TRY to do an outline, but I usually end up looking at it maybe once or twice.

What was the first book that made you fall in love with reading/writing?
Harry Potter for sure. I picked it up in 6th grade and it went from there. :)

Do you have any pets and if so please tell us about them?
I personally don't. I do live on my dad's farm though, and he has a ton of animals. Cows, horses, chickens, dogs...)

Do you have any hobbies?
Reading, listening to music and playing with my son. :)

If you could go on a trip anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
England. There's so much history there. Gah! One day, I will make it there! :)

What has been your favorite book to write?
That's a tough one... Hmmm. I really can't chose. I love them all for different reasons.

What was the happiest moment in your life so far?
When my son was born.

Please tell us an odd, little known fact about you.
Let's see.... Oh! I know one!!!! I always keep my car on at least 1/2 a tank of gas because I'm afraid that I might have to run during a zombie apocalypse!!!
